It's Ethiopia Season!

February and into early Spring is our favourite time of the year.

It's when our importing partners start to receive all the fresh new Ethiopian lots from the November/December harvest season.

Bright, fruity and sometimes floral notes with juicey, wine like acidity - Ethiopia is one of our all time favourite origins!

For the last little while, we've been hard at work narrowing down a selection of our favourite fresh crop Ethio's to coincide with the launch of our new online store!

 

Here's a sneak peak at the exciting new additions to our line up!

 

Sidamo - Nguisse Nare

This is the first of our naturals to drop and it's a beauty.

Dried on raised beds for 20 days, we get big hits of mouth wateringly juicey blackberries, with grape and some sharper raspberry acidity too. This is an acidity forward Ethio that really shines!

 

Guji - Layo Teraga

Another fruit bomber natural, this time with some big hitter sweetness thrown in for good measure.

Think dried cherries and red fruits and a jammy lingering finish. Yum!

 

Limmu Kossa - Kossa Geshe

Our third Ethio offering is another natural processed coffee that balances perfectly in the cup. Red fruit sweetness with a super interesting pineapple like tropical acidity and hints of honeydew and clementine.
